Belize – Act no. 12 of 2021 – Income and Business Tax (Amendment) Act 2021
The Belize Government has made an amendment to the relevant Government fee charged and please see the main points below:
- An increase in the incorporation fee for an international business company with a share value of US$50,000 or less from the existing US$100 to US$200;
- An increase in the annual renewal fee for an international business company with a share value of US$50,000 or less from US$150 to US$250; and
- Repealing section 114 sub-section (2) thereby eliminating the late penalty fee for companies renewing for the year.
